Cohen's first week in review...

Better late than never right! Here are more pics of our fourth baby boy, Cohen. The day of his birth was one of the most wonderful days of our lives! Such precious memories...we are so thankful to all of you who came to the hospital to make our stay a very special one. I honestly could have never imagined that having four boys could be so much fun or that I would be content with that, but I can tell you today that I would not have it any other way!!! God has filled our cup to overflow! He is amazing how He gives us the strength we need to take care of these sweet boys and get everything done. Many days I wake up wondering if I can do it...the truth is, by myself, I can't. With Him though, All things are possible! I have to remind myself of that daily! My mother and church friends do a great job of reminding me of and encouraging me with that promise as well! Thank y'all! Cohen was welcomed into this world by his big brother, Cade, bigger brother, Callen, and biggest brother, Corbin. They LOVE Cohen, almost literally to pieces as you can imagine! :-) We are trying to adjust to a new norm, things seem to be getting a little smoother by the day. God is faithful and we can hardly wait to see the plans he has for these 4 sweet precious boys...ALL with rockstar hair! :-)

Corbin had to get one last kiss on the outside! He loved talking to his baby brother so "he will know who I am when he is born" he would say.

Is there really a baby in there?...I'm pretty sure that's what he was thinking, and the look of shock when he first saw Cohen confirmed that!

Mommy's first hug!

First picture of all 5 of my sweet boys together.

Cade cuddling with Mommy...which he wanted to do over half the time they were visiting us.,,it was so sweet!

He didn't like his first bath very much.

Seriously, is this the nursery or the zoo?

Callen's first time to hold his sweet baby brother!

Corbin finally wanted to hold him too!

Is this a fussing contest?

That's right!!!

Ready to go home.

Mommy LOVES getting sugars!

Snoozin' on daddy already!

I can hold him too!

I love my baby brother...and don't we look adorable together!!!

This bath thing...not all it's cracked up to be!

4 Brothers that absolutely LOVE each other!!!

"He's so cute, Mommy!"

Corbin said "we're resting together, Mommy"

I love my new bassinet!

A late start to 2008...

Well we have been horrible at updating this so far this year....forgive us?? To start how about a recap on everyone.

Kara
is coming right along with boy #4...yes, for those who dont know we are having another boy. We were somewhat overwhelmed and taken back but are now excited to have another Clayton boy! She is feeling well and stays busy chasing after the other 3. Her side business is taking off especially in the custom cake making department. People are calling from all over the metroplex to order cakes.

Chris is staying super busy in the studio and is working with some very talented people. One of the bands he produced was featured in CCM Magazine and another artist had a song he produced go #2 on the Christian Independent chart. As usual the winter/spring is busy with dates on the road. The band and him leave out for about 5 weekends in a row starting this week. His new record is coming very well. Things at the church are also good and busy as the new year starts.

Corbin will be playing soccer for the first time this year. We are so excited about him playing. He is all geared up with new ball, shoes, shin guards and a winning attitude. He will do so well.

Callen is still our little hand full. He is growing up in so many ways and getting tall. He loves to watch mommy (and yes daddy) cook. He also is the best at messing up a clean room in no time flat. amazing....

Cade or "Tubbs" as we have called him is getting his own little personality. Words are starting to come from his mouth and he is taking off like lighting now in the walking department. He has the coolest hair ever and his eyes kills all the ladies.

This last weekend we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary with a trip to Nashville, TN. We stayed in a bed and breakfast in Franklin (a suburb of Nashville) and just hung out with no agenda away from the kids (thanks to Nanna Dee). Enjoy the pics. Also I threw in some new pics of the boys....ladie killers!!!
